Terms of Service

These terms apply to this website and to the services of the company named below. Last updated: 1 October 2026.

Who we are

This website, Company in Belgium, is operated by Brussels Legal Partners S.P.R.L., with its seat at Rue de la Loi 200, 1040 Bruxelles, Belgium. Its registration and VAT numbers are in the footer of every page. Any contract for a service is concluded with that company. Write to us at info@company-in-belgium.com.

Using this website

You may read the site and use its forms for real enquiries about our services. Do not use automated tools that burden the site, do not submit false or third-party data, and do not try to interfere with its operation. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies in the Cookie Policy.

Information, not advice

The pages and guides explain Belgian law in general terms, with the statute and the date we checked it. They do not replace advice on your own case, and the law can change after a page was written. Accounting and tax advice for third parties are not part of what we offer, and a deed of incorporation is executed by a notary, not by us.

Our services and how an engagement starts

Our services are those described on this site: company formation, ready-made companies, branches and subsidiaries, registered office and local director, licences and trade marks, VAT registration and coordination of payroll with an accredited social secretariat.

  • An enquiry through Contact us or Start onboarding creates no contract.
  • An engagement starts when you accept a written quote or an invoice from us, and its scope is the one stated there.

What we do not offer

  • Accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Tax advice.
  • Anonymity through nominee arrangements: a local director carries the responsibilities the law gives a director.

Quotes, fees and payment

Fees are quoted on request and set out in the quote or invoice. Official fees, such as those of the notary, the registers and the gazette, are separate: they are charged by the body concerned and we say so in the quote. You can pay an invoice on the Pay an invoice page, by card through Stripe Checkout or in cryptocurrency through NOWPayments. Card details are entered on the processor's page and never reach this website.

Refunds and cancellation

Tell us in writing, through Contact us, if you want to cancel an engagement or ask for a refund. Work already carried out for you, and any filing already made with a notary or a register, cannot be undone by us, and amounts paid to third parties for it are not ours to return. We answer each request in writing and state what, if anything, is refunded.

Your responsibilities

You supply accurate and complete documents and identity data, including what we need for due-diligence and beneficial-owner purposes, and you tell us promptly if something changes. Decisions taken on the basis of the information we give you remain yours.

Liability

We carry out each engagement with reasonable care, on the information you provide. We are not liable for loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information from you, by the decisions of notaries, registers, banks, regulators or other third parties, or by reliance on the general information on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that Belgian law does not allow to be excluded.

The text and design of this site belong to the operator, and you may not copy them for commercial use without our written consent. Links to official sources and other websites are given for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Governing law, disputes and contact

Belgian law governs these terms, and the courts of Brussels have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules that protect consumers. We date every change to these terms on this page. For questions about them, write to info@company-in-belgium.com or use Contact us.
